Morning Ritual
Morning Ritual
I get up each morning
And dust off my wits,
Then pick up the paper
And read the obits.
If my name isn't there,
Then I know I'm not dead.
I eat a good breakfast
And go back to bed.

My Dog
My Dog
My dog is such a gentle soul,
Although he's big, it's true.
He brings the paper in his mouth.
He brings the postman, too!
