Life is Often Too Seriously Taken, so for that reason, I'm going to post a silly poem from time-to-time. These first several will each be taken from a small booklet entitled, Lighten Up! 100 Funny Little Poems, compiled and edited by Bruce Lansky.

Update on the Crazy Quilt
Sixteen Blocks
And quite a number yet to go... but it's Very Fun! :-)
Hi Shady - it's really begining to take shape now and I'm loving the block colours. Don't suppose you fancy doing one for a king-sized bed do you???!!! :)
(ps. I noticed that you called me Ruth on your last post comments thingy, but I'm Liz - Ruth is First-Born and she's listed on my blog because she does all the techi background stuff that I'm not interested in!Lots of people have thought the same, so I'm going to have to get her to change it!)
Hi Liz! I'm so glad to be able to call you by name, although I could say "NG" ;-)
You know, this is so easy... you really could do this! Want me to send you a block? Perhaps you could purchase some muslin and a fade resistant quilting pen (where the ink will disappear when you wash it) for copying it?
Or I could scan the pattern and post it so you could print it off and make it the size you want...
Hiya Shady, Incredibly complex and very effective design. What a lot of work and you put together such brill instructions for it. The quilts you gifted to your family should become heirlooms. Are you familiar with the McCall's book of American Quilts? I love looking at the old ones in people's collections. The double wedding ring and the orange peel are my favourites. But there are so many that are really beautiful. Cathedral window is another.
